Scottish stalwarts Blazin' Fiddles and Dougie MacLean will feature in St Andrews Day celebrations alongside Breabach
and the Cask Strength Ceilidh Band, promising real family fun. Kids can even enjoy dance and ceilidh workshops as well as storytelling. Festivities run from 2pm to 10pm and all events are free to attend.
For the first time, an observational Big Wheel will come to the capital, featuring 36 enclosed, weather-proof pods. A ride on the wheel not only offers spectacular views, but also includes a short historical tour of the view and the city – what better way to find out more about Edinburgh!
Throughout late November and December, a host of spectacular theatrical shows will be on display in a picturesque Spiegeltent in St Andrews Square. Add to that a range of Scottish and European markets, and it's easy to see why Christmas will be magical in Edinburgh.
