Edinburgh’s No1 luxury hotel wins ‘Certificate of Excellence’ award

The Chester Residence scoops up its 18th industry award

Five-star Edinburgh hotel, The Chester Residence, has been awarded the ‘Certificate of Excellence 2015’ award by TripAdvisor. This follows on from their earlier success in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards 2015 where they were named as the ‘No1 Luxury Hotel in the UK’ and the ‘7th Best Luxury Hotel in Europe’.

The ‘Certificate of Excellence 2015’ award celebrates excellence in hospitality and has been awarded to The Chester Residence as a direct result of their glowing TripAdvisor reviews and for consistently being ranked No1 of 140 hotels in Edinburgh listed on TripAdvisor. The Chester Residence has racked up a number of industry awards since opening in 2006, with this latest award making it a total of 18. Edinburgh is in second place for the number of certificates given out by TripAdvisor, with more winning businesses then Venice, Sydney or Los Angeles.

The Chester Residence comprises 23 luxury Georgian townhouse apartments located in Edinburgh’s chic West End. Each suite is individually designed using the most luxurious, contemporary décor and furnishings, with all the comforts of a five star hotel as well as full reception and concierge service, offering guests a personalised and memorable experience.

Owner of The Chester Residence, Graham Wood, said: “We are delighted to win the TripAdvisor ‘Certificate of Excellence 2015’ award and we would like to thank all of our guests who took the time to review us on TripAdvisor. Our team work exceptionally hard and always aim to deliver an excellent service, so it is a great honour that our guests have recognised this.”

Marc Charron, President of TripAdvisor for Business says: “TripAdvisor is pleased to honour exceptional hospitality businesses that have received consistent praise and recognition by travellers on the site.”
